Quick Solutions

App Not Loading?

Try these quick fixes:

  • • Close and reopen the app
  • • Check your internet connection
  • • Clear app cache (Android)
  • • Restart your device

Connection Issues?

Network troubleshooting:

  • • Switch between WiFi and mobile data
  • • Check if other apps work
  • • Try airplane mode on/off
  • • Contact your ISP if needed

Common Issues & Solutions

Login & Authentication Issues
Critical

❌ OTP Not Received

Possible Causes: Network issues, SMS delays, incorrect phone number

Solutions:
  • Wait 2-3 minutes - SMS can be delayed
  • Check if your phone number is correct
  • Ensure you have network coverage
  • Try requesting OTP again after 5 minutes
  • Check if SMS is blocked by any spam filters

❌ Invalid OTP Error

Possible Causes: Expired OTP, typos, multiple OTP requests

Solutions:
  • Use the most recent OTP received
  • Check for typos - enter exactly as received
  • Request a fresh OTP if current one is older than 5 minutes
  • Ensure you're not copy-pasting extra spaces

❌ Invalid Association Code

Possible Causes: Wrong code, expired invitation, typos

Solutions:
  • Double-check the code with your association admin
  • Ensure you're entering the code correctly (case-sensitive)
  • Verify the invitation hasn't expired
  • Contact your RWA admin for a new invitation code

Payment Issues
High Priority

❌ Payment Failed

Possible Causes: Insufficient balance, bank issues, network problems

Solutions:
  • Check your account balance
  • Verify your UPI PIN is correct
  • Try a different payment method
  • Ensure stable internet connection
  • Contact your bank if issue persists
  • Wait 5-10 minutes before retrying

❌ Payment Stuck in Processing

Possible Causes: Bank processing delays, network timeouts

Solutions:
  • Wait 30 minutes - bank processing can be slow
  • Check your bank statement for deduction
  • Don't attempt payment again immediately
  • Contact support if stuck for over 2 hours
  • Pull down to refresh invoice status

❌ UPI ID Not Working

Possible Causes: Invalid format, inactive UPI ID, typos

Solutions:
  • Verify UPI ID format: username@provider
  • Check UPI ID is active in your payment app
  • Ensure no spaces before or after the ID
  • Try updating your UPI ID in profile settings
  • Use a different UPI ID or payment method

Notification Issues
Medium Priority

❌ No Notifications Received

Possible Causes: Disabled permissions, battery optimization, network issues

Solutions:
  • Check notification permissions in device settings
  • Disable battery optimization for CaliPay
  • Enable background app refresh (iOS)
  • Check Do Not Disturb settings
  • Ensure app is not in battery saver mode

❌ Notifications Not Opening App

Possible Causes: App cache issues, corrupted notification data

Solutions:
  • Force close and reopen the app
  • Clear app cache (Android only)
  • Restart your device
  • Update to the latest app version
  • Reinstall the app if issue persists

App Performance Issues
Low Priority

❌ App Crashes or Freezes

Possible Causes: Low memory, outdated app version, device issues

Solutions:
  • Close other apps to free up memory
  • Restart your device
  • Update to the latest app version
  • Clear app cache and data
  • Check available storage space
  • Reinstall the app if necessary

❌ Slow Loading

Possible Causes: Poor network, server issues, large data sets

Solutions:
  • Check your internet speed
  • Switch to a better network connection
  • Close and reopen the app
  • Wait during peak hours - servers may be busy
  • Clear app cache to remove old data

Platform-Specific Issues

📱Android Issues

Battery Optimization

Android may kill CaliPay in background, affecting notifications.

Solution: Go to Settings → Battery → Battery Optimization → CaliPay → Don't Optimize

Notification Channels

Different notification types may be disabled individually.

Solution: Settings → Apps → CaliPay → Notifications → Enable all channels

App Cache Issues

Corrupted cache can cause login or loading problems.

Solution: Settings → Apps → CaliPay → Storage → Clear Cache

🍎iOS Issues

Background App Refresh

Disabled background refresh affects notifications and updates.

Solution: Settings → General → Background App Refresh → CaliPay → On

Notification Permissions

iOS requires explicit permission for notifications.

Solution: Settings → Notifications → CaliPay → Allow Notifications

Storage Issues

Low storage can cause app to malfunction.

Solution: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Free up space
